ITALY - INDEPENDENTS DAY!
Last but not least a sign of independent live from Italy: Italy’s association Audiocoop got together a 15 track compilation, put on myspace Italy on a specially dedicated profile.The songs were chosen by Audiocoop with help of the most credited journalists and people of the indie-business.
Further the Independents Day will be presented by the popular nighttime-programm “Stereonotte” with Barbara Tommassino of Rai 1, the biggest public Radiostation in Italy.
Among the rappresentative artists are young and promising acts such as The Second Grace and Canadians. Those two performed also international shows like 08’s SXSW and London Calling and gain increasing attention. We are lucky to present also italian cult-veterans Bandabardò and indie-icon Lara Martelli.
The myspace profile will be online from the 4th of July, the Independents Day. Songs will be added one by one.
